Hundreds of refugees have been forced to leave their homes and take refuge in the city of Slorium after a giant cloud of ash covered the atmosphere of the region. The citizens look terrified to the skies looking for an explanation, but do not know that an even greater threat awaits underground.

Over the last week, the city has been rocked by the arrival of hundreds of refugees from nearby areas. They have left their homes due to a gigantic cloud of ash and dirt that destroyed their crops and livestock. The authorities of the city have placed the refugees in a provisional camp on the grounds of the School of Magic while they decide how to deal with the situation. The truth is that no one in the city knows why the cloud formed, and paranoia among residents is growing by the day.

Tras semanas buscando el rastro de los ladrones, parece que su camino les llevó a pasar por el Monasterio de Yrelath e incluso es posible que continúen allí refugiados de las tormentas que azotan la región. Aunque los indicios de lo ocurrido a los antiguos recuperadores de la Cábala de la Armonía Celeste no son claros, podría merecer la pena investigarlo. Los habitantes de los pueblos cercanos parecen evitar el monasterio y sus inmediaciones, aunque no saben qué puede haber ocurrido allí.

If something was made clear during the assault of Kya Drovash and his morlock army upon the city of Melionii, it is that the "Empyrean Gyroscope of Xion" is a weapon whose power overwhelms the limits any mortal creature can imagine. The artifact, created by the Pilgrim Nyethorn to preserve his own life, was used by the Morlock leader to unleash the wrath of the Titan Xeinoth and to tear down the enormous walls of Melionii as if they were made of clay and mud. However, this is just one of the coarsest uses that can be made of the gyroscope.

Although many thought that the death of Kya and the destruction of the gyroscope would end the threat forever, the consequences of what happened are about to reach a new dimension.

El artefacto, creado por el Peregrino Nyethorn para preservar su propia vida, fue empleada por la líder morlock para desatar la ira del Titán Xeinoth y derribar las enormes murallas de Melionii como si fueran de arcilla y barro. Sin embargo, esto es solo uno de los usos más bastos que se pueden hacer del giroscopio.

The research centre and zoo is owned and operated by the Wizard Aldritch, a very old and powerful mage who is extremely well-connected politically. His daughter Raven Aldritch runs the day to day operations, including arrangements for the capture of new specimens.

The Demon Stones is a lvl-1-3 adventure in a standard fantasy world for 4-5 players where characters have to invetigate a strange illness affecting animals and people in the area.It is an investigation/dungeoning adventure easely introduced to a campaign at any moment.

THE SUN HAD set an hour ago, and the rain lashed down and the wind howled on the dark moor. A storm this late in the season was unusual, but this one seemed different. The clouds were more menacing, tinged with anger, the rain colder and more biting than usual.

Skerrill had to find the lost calf and get him back to the farm before his father came back from the city on business. He’d been looking for two hours now, and he was right in the middle of the moor when the storm hit. He knew he should have turned back as soon as darkness fell, but then he was never the brightest boy in the valley. If only he had remembered to lock the farm gate.

The calf was now likely dead anyway having stumbled among the boulders and rocks panicking in the dark, and then fallen in a floodwater stream and drowned. Either way, he was in more trouble than he could imagine.

Suddenly, a bright flash of white light and a roaring peal of thunder were preceded by an explosion as a huge object fell from the sky and impacted the ground of the moor no more than a stone’s throw from him. Dirt, mud, water, and debris erupted from the impact site, flying high into the air and then covering the moor for hundreds of feet all around.

Skerrill was knocked to the ground instantly and covered in the fallout from the blast. His ears rang and his head spun, but he staggered to his feet in a daze.

He stumbled to where the blast had happened only moments before, and in a depression in the ground lay a huge stone glowing orange as if hot. Skerrill passed out.

Two more thunderous explosions crashed in the distance.

El sol se había puesto hacía ya una hora, la lluvia azotaba y el viento aullaba en el oscuro páramo. Una tormenta tan avanzada la temporada no era inusual, pero esta parecía diferente. Las nubes eran más amenazadoras, teñidas de ira, la lluvia más fría y más penetrante de lo habitual.

Skerrill tenía que encontrar al becerro perdido y llevarlo de vuelta a la granja antes de que su padre volviera de la ciudad por negocios. Llevaba dos horas buscando, y estaba justo en medio del páramo cuando llegó la tormenta. Sabía que debería haber regresado tan pronto como cayó la oscuridad, pero nunca había sido el chico más brillante del valle. Si al menos hubiera recordado cerrar la puerta de la granja…

El ternero probablemente estaría muerto de todos modos, habiendo tropezado entre las rocas, entrado en pánico en la oscuridad, y luego caído en la corriente de agua de la inundación para luego ahogarse. De cualquier manera, él mismo estaba en más problemas de lo que podía imaginar.

De repente, un destello brillante de luz blanca y un estruendo de truenos precedieron una explosión cuando un objeto enorme cayó del cielo e impactó el suelo del páramo a no más de un tiro de piedra de él. Suciedad, barro, agua y escombros surgieron del lugar del impacto, volando por los aires y luego cubriendo el páramo cientos de pies alrededor.

Skerrill fue derribado al suelo al instante y cubierto por las consecuencias de la explosión. Sus oídos estallaron y su cabeza giró, pero se tambaleó hasta ponerse de pie, aturdido.

Tropezó hasta donde la explosión había tenido lugar solo unos momentos antes y, en una depresión en el suelo, yacía una enorme piedra de color naranja brillante como si estuviera caliente. Skerrill se desmayó.

Dos explosiones más se escucharon en la distancia.
